Library Collection and Services
The Sports Information Centre houses over 19,000 items of monographs, 2,300 Audio-Visual materials and 3,300 journals in print or electronic format. The Sports Information Centre provides electronic databases – SPORTDiscus and CNKI (China Academic Journals Full-text Database & China Sports' Knowledge Full-text Database) to access. SPORTDiscus contains premier source of literature for sports and sports medicine journals, and full-text content from well-known and respected sources. CNKI contains more than 755 thousand full-text Chinese sports journal articles and also dissertations, yearbooks, newspapers, statistics, standards and proceedings related to sports.
The Sports Information Centre provides computer and audio-visual facilities to enable users to access multimedia and digitized resources, library catalogue, e-books, online databases and internet.
