Hong Kong fencing team captured two medals at the World Fencing Championships 2022 held in Cairo, Egypt. Cheung Ka-long took bronze in the men’s foil individual event and became the first male fencer to win a medal at the world championships for Hong Kong, while Kong Man-wai collected her second world championships bronze medal in the women’s epee individual event after 2019.
