Hongkong Bank Foundation Coach Accreditation Programme ¡V Accredited Coach Renewal Scheme (ACRS) Update on continuing coach education hours earning methods

To maintain the quality of coaches and provide accredited coaches with a clear path in aspiration for higher skill levels, the Hong Kong Coaching Committee has launched the ACRS in September 2008 and acquired the support from coaches and NSAs.
With effect from 1 May 2010, three new channels will be offered to accredited coaches for accumulating sufficient continuing education hours ¡V teach non Sports-Specific courses, seminars or workshops, serve as coaching committee member in the National Sports Associations, as well as author of peer-reviewed books or journal articles in non Sports-Specific areas.
