Asia-Pacific Congress on Sports Technology participants visit HKSI

Over 90 participants of the APCST 2013: 6th Asia-Pacific Congress on Sports Technology made a professional visit to the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) on 18 September. The congress was jointly organised by RMIT University from Australia and Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aimed to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers and educators from around the world who are involved in sports technology research, development and innovation. The group was introduced to the range of sports science and medicine services and training facilities provided at the Institute, and had a good exchange of views and experiences with our sports scientists and coaches.


Legislative Councillor Dr Hon Lam Tai-fai visits HKSI
Legislative Councillor Dr Hon Lam Tai-fai SBS JP visited the HKSI on 2 August. Accompanied by HKSI Chairman Mr Carlson Tong Ka-shing JP and Chief Executive Dr Trisha Leahy, Dr Lam toured the elite training and support service facilities and met with coaches and athletes of some elite sports to gain a better understanding of athletes¡¦ training activities in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong-Shanghai Strength and Conditioning Symposium 2013
