運動按摩治療師 (Sport Massage Therapist)

The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited (“HKSI”) is the Government’s delivery agent to provide the high performance training system for eligible sports. The HKSI’s mission is to provide an environment in which sports talent can be identified, nurtured and developed to pursue excellence in the international sporting arena benchmarked at Major Games results. We are now inviting suitable candidates for the following vacancy:

The Job

Reporting to the Senior Sport Massage Therapist, the Sport Massage Therapist will be responsible for the following duties:

To provide sports massage services and training care to scholarship athletes,
To assist in the rehabilitation program;
To plan and implement injury prevention program;
To provide local and overseas on-field support for HKSI scholarship athletes;
To plan and conduct educational programs for elite athletes and coaches;
To liaise with coaches and other technical support professionals on elite athletes' recovery process；and
To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.

The Requirements

A diploma or university degree in sports therapy or a relevant discipline, or its equivalent;
A minimum of 2 years' working experience preferably in relevant practical fields;
Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese is preferable;
Able to work in irregular hours and perform under pressure;
Effective and efficient team player; and
Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage
