Hong Kong won 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze in swimming and wheelchair fencing on the second day of competition. Swimmer Tang Wai-lok won the first gold for Hong Kong in the men's 200m freestyle S14 and set a new Games record. The wheelchair fencing team added 4 medals - 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze, with Yu Chui-yee capturing the second gold for Hong Kong in the women's foil - category A after defeating two Mainland rivals in the semi-final and final. Justine Charissa Ng brought home a bronze in the same event, while Chung Yuen-ping took another bronze for Hong Kong in category B. The silver medal came from Cheong Meng-chai, who nabbed silver in the men’s foil category A.
