Cheung Ka-long Wins Olympic Gold for Hong Kong
Hong Kong fencer Cheung Ka-long made history for Hong Kong by winning the fourth Olympic medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. After outnumbering former World champion and world number one Italian rival in the men's foil individual event, he followed up the victory with hot pursuit to beat Russian Olympic Committee and Czech Republic to advance to final. Ultimately, he defeated the Rio Olympic champion to take the Olympic gold for Hong Kong, after former windsurfer Lee Lai-shan captured a gold medal at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.
