Great Success for Hong Kong Cycling Team

The Hong Kong cycling team brought home 4 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals from the 40th Asian Track Cycling Championships cum 27th Asian Junior Track Cycling Championships held in South Korea. Notably, Lee Wai-sze triumphed in both the women’s sprint and keirin events for the sixth time at the regional championships. In addition, Pang Yao partnered with Yang Qianyu to take the women’s madison title, while Mow Ching-yin captured his first-ever Asian Championships gold medal in the men’s scratch. The men’s pursuit team also took bronze and set a new Hong Kong record with a 4:05.608 finish.
