HK Cycling Team Shines with 2 Golds, Ranking Third at World Champs

Hong Kong cyclist Lee Wai-sze stood atop on the podium at the 2019 UCI Track Cycling World Championships held in Pruszkow, Poland. With stable sensational technique and mental quality, cyclist Lee Wai-sze defeated the world number one Australian rival Stephanie Morton with 2-0 straight at elite women’s sprint to win her first gold. Later she blitzed the track again to triumph at elite women’s keirin, becoming Hong Kong’s first-ever cyclist to get three rainbow jerseys. Hong Kong cycling team achieved the best-ever result at this year's Track Cycling World Championships, ranking third in the overall medal table.
