Veteran Cheung Siu-lun claimed his first crown at the Asian Fencing Championships with victory in the men’s foil individual event, while Kong Man-wai became the first athlete from Hong Kong to take gold in the women’s epee. In total, the fencing team brought home a historic 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals at this year’s regional championships.
