Hong Kong men’s foil team, comprising Cheung Ka-long, Choi Chun-yin, Ho Shing-him and Leung Chin-yu, made history on home soil at the Fencing World Championships 2026 in Hong Kong by winning the city’s first-ever silver medal in a team event at the tournament. Notably, 17-year-old Ho Shing-him reached the podium on his World Championships debut, delivering an impressive performance.
