Hong Kong fencing team brought home a total of seven medals, including 2 gold 1 silver 4 bronze medals, at the Asian Fencing Championships held in South Korea.

Cheung Ka-long, world number one, and Kong Man-wai topped the podium in the men’s foil individual and women’s epee individual event respectively, while Choi Chun-yin and Chan Wai-ling both took bronze in the events respectively. For team events, women’s epee team captured silver, and men’s foil and sabre team won bronze.
