Hong Kong table tennis pair Doo Hoi-kem and Wong Chun-ting made history at the 2018 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals, beating Unified Korea duo Cha Hyo-sim and Jang Woo-jin 3-0 to win the gold medal in the final of the mixed doubles event which was included in the Tour Finals for the first time. Wong also partnered with Ho Kwan-kit to win a silver medal in the men's doubles.
