Hong Kong team brought home 2 silver and 4 bronze medals from the 18th Asian Senior, 20th Asian Cadet, Junior & U21, and 1st Asian Para Karate Championship. Among all, Chiu Chun-yin and Lau Mo-sheung took silver in the male individual kata (junior) and female individual kata event respectively.
