Elite Athletes Performance Recognition Scheme
In order to recognise the contribution of elite athletes who had represented Hong Kong and achieved outstanding results in major international games, the Elite Sports Committee recommended to set up the Elite Athletes Performance Recognition Scheme (EAPRS) with a view to supporting their pursuit of a second career after retirement from high-level sporting competition. The Scheme has been approved by the Sports Commission in August 2013.
Under the HKAF, the EAPRS will provide a one-off cash grant to eligible retired athletes and will be open for application starting from 1 January 2015. Please refer to the guidelines of the Scheme for information.
